Family-like and personal

Alexander-Stift

Our community care homes and senior centres are organised in small, manageable living units. The basis of our work is holistic and individual care. What this means for us is: We want our residents to be able to live as independently as possible while receiving as much help as necessary. With us, everyone is welcome to their own space, but no one has to be alone.

That is why we offer a wide range of activities in our homes, as varied as the interests of our residents. This includes preparing fresh meals every day and, depending on the concept, cooking alongside the residents. We see personal encounters with our residents as an important element of our pastoral work. That is why regular in-house church services, activities within the community and the exchange with our neighbours are a given for us.

Our defining qualities

Creating places where people feel comfortable. Creating a framework in which our residents can continue to live self-determined lives. Providing help that makes life easier and more pleasant. These are the basic ideas that take centre stage at Alexander-Stift. As an institution of Diakonie Stetten, we plan, think and act according to the Christian concept of humanity and Christian values. In our care homes, professional specialists, relatives, volunteers and friends cooperate to create a living environment that is oriented towards the familiar and thus conveys safety and security. Together, we form a family-like and appreciative community in our care homes.
